Shell Chest of Drawers

Commissioned by Todhunter Earle on behalf of their clients for the house they were designing in the Bahamas.

This glorious chest of drawers will be transformed into a stunning vanity unit when installed in the powder room.

We begin with an idea of palette, an understanding of the room and of course plenty of working drawings if available to dictate scale and dimensions. And in conjunction with the interior designer, myself and the client we come up with shell patterns to suit their taste and the vibe that works for with the house as a whole.

The paint colour for the chest was selected by the design team to work in conjunction with the room and of course the shells.

Because this is to be turned into a vanity unit, with a fabulous piece of marble to sit on top we provided full instructions for the plumbing team and provided the template for the marble cutting which would be taking place on site.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with this stunning piece of furniture. Watch this space for further images of it beautifully transformed into a vanity unit.

We can make this piece as a stand alone chest of drawers, painted in any colour and of course the shell patterns can be adapted to suit your taste and palette for the room.
